André Jallot Art
André Jallot was born in Paris in 1884. Jallot studied at La Ruche in Paris and L'École de Rouen. He exhibited in galleries throughout Paris and Rouen as well as at the Société des Artistes Indépendants and Salon d'Automne. Jallot founded the Groupe des XXX in 1907 and in 1909, along with painters Robert Antoine Pinchon, Yvonne Barbier and Eugène Tirvert, founded the Société Normande de Peinture Moderne. Jallot's works are held in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Modern Art, Paris; Museum of Montmarte; Museum of Fine Arts of Rouen; Troyes Museum of Modern Art; Dijon Museum of Fine Arts; Petite Palais Museum in Geneva; Consulate General of France, Rio de Janeiro and Milwaukee Art Museum, Wisconsin, among others.
