Colombian
Stinkfish was born in Mexico City, Mexico. When he was a child his family emigrated to Bogotá, Colombia where he continues to live and work.
Recognized internationally for his large, colorful murals, Stinkfish often works from photographs of local people that he takes at the street and later turns into stencils that will form part of the finished work mixed with freehand style. His work can be seen in Argentina, Austria, Boliva, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Guatemala, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, The Netherlands, Peru, Russia, Spain, UK, USA, and more.(Biography provided by GREGG SHIENBAUM FINE ART)

Artist Biography: Born in New Orleans, Robert Benjamin Stiles (Benji) is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who lives and works in Houston. He holds a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, with a major in Art History and a minor in Studio Arts, and is currently an MFA candidate at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art). His work ranges from non-representational painting focusing on diverse mark-making and color theory to conceptual sculpture and assemblage using historical and found objects.
