Musical souvenir box made in Switzerland in the 19th century for the German marked
This rare snuffbox plays 2 melodies. Indicated on the original tunesheet on the inside of the lid.
The case is made of metal with a transfert print on Top and sides. At the front the controls are decorated with brass.
This box is made as a souvenir box for Brounnen "contre Grütli et la chapelle de Guil. Tell" (old region in Switserland)
Because of the general condition of this piece, it can be called very exceptional, all damage and traces of use indicating a past with great care and dedication. It is over 100 years old, so there is some flaws consistant with the age of this object.
