MCM 6 Drawer Dresser Framed Arch Mirror by Dillingham Walnut & Pecky Cypress
By Dillingham Manufacturing Company
Located in Topeka, KS
Fabulous vintage Mid Century Modern 6 drawer dresser with framed arch mirror by Dillingham Manufacturing Company. Comprised of a walnut case rustic pecky cypress drawers, and a recessed black painted plinth/floating base. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, one drawer front had missing wood that was repaired with filler & colored to match. There is a fresh coat of black on the base but no poly finish. We are happy to do that upon request. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century. NOTE: We have this Dillingham 6 drawer dresser and mirror listed here separately if you are only interested in purchasing one or the other. Profound style, Pleasing Presence, AND Pecky Cypress? YES!!! This dresser is ALL OF THAT!!! (and maybe a little more!!) While there are plenty of dressers in this world… occasionally you come across a dresser with style that presides over the others…like this marvelous vintage 6 drawer dresser...

1971 MCM Lane Dresser Credenza Buffet Tower Suite Collection Walnut & Rosewood
By Lane Furniture
Located in Topeka, KS
Spectacular vintage Mid-Century Modern dresser, credenza, buffet, or sideboard Lane Furniture Tower Suite Collection comprised of walnut, rosewood and chrome details, hardware, & door fronts, 9 drawers, and a black painted plinth base. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. The top has been refinished and a coat of poly applied; the rest of body has been cleaned and Danish oiled; and the black plinth base has a fresh coat of black paint. Repaired 2 small veneer chips on top & bottom of back right corner. Please see photos and zoom in for details as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 10-18-1971. There are plenty of dressers in this world… and then occasionally you come across a dresser with style that TOWERS over the others…like this vintage “Tower Suite Collection” piece by Lane Furniture!! It is comprised of a stunning walnut frame, 9 drawers total, and a black painted plinth base. It features double doors in the center with rosewood door fronts, rectangular chrome pulls, and three drawers enclosed behind the double doors. It has three large walnut dovetailed drawers on both sides of the double doors featuring rosewood handles with chrome detail on each end and decorative rosewood square inlays on the cabinet top edges. It is a gorgeous example of high-quality craftsmanship constructed with exquisite woods and attention to detail quintessential of Lane Furniture. It is going to be a fabulous dresser in your bedroom but maybe you love this piece and don’t necessarily need a dresser at this time. No problem! It would be marvelous used as a credenza, buffet, or sideboard in your dining room, family room, or study. Place it under a large mirror in the entry or adorn it with artwork, a sculpture, or a wonderful pair of lamps. It is versatile, has tons of adequate storage space, and an impeccable style sure to make a bold statement in your home! This is a classic beauty with a stunning Mid-Century Modern presence that you are sure to love for years to come. Lane was founded in 1912 by Edward Hudson Lane at the age of 21, upon his father’s suggestion after he, John Edward Lane, bought a small packing-box plant in Altavista, Virginia. Edward procured a loan and converted the factory to make cedar chests and named it The Standard Red Cedar Chest Co. Sales were good and the company expanded. But during WWI, with the banning of rail freight deemed non-essential, they began making pine ammunition boxes. This is notable as it led to an assembly line which was revolutionary and became the first moving conveyor assembly system in the furniture industry. After the war, with sales still increasing, Ed Lane decided he could risk giving the company his name and changed it to The Lane Co...
