Black variation of the original poster (three variations were created: red - blue - black) for the exhibition "The Americans Indian Series" by Andy Warhol commissioned by the Ace Gallery in Los Angeles in 1976 and 1977. This poster is signed by Andy Warhol. The portrait represents Russell Means, American Indian rights activist and member of the American Indian Movement. Warhol's portraits of Russell Means (18 in total) have become an emblem of the crises of contemporary America and the importance of its minorities.
