About the Item
"Perspective in Orange" is a profound exploration of life's journey and the dynamic nature of perspective. Crafted from steel, then painted, this Constructivist style maquette (model) offers a visually striking representation of the transformative power of shifting viewpoints.
The geometric lines that define the sculpture play a central role in conveying its message. As viewers encircle the work, they experience a fascinating interplay of disappearing and reappearing lines, shapes and forms. This clever use of perspective mirrors the way in which hidden aspects become evident from different vantage points. The artwork becomes a metaphor for the evolving nature of our perceptions as we navigate through life.
The title, "Perspective in Orange," suggests a warmth and vibrancy associated with the color orange, inviting viewers to engage with the piece on an emotional level. The Constructivist style, known for its emphasis on geometric forms and dynamic compositions, reinforces the idea of intentional design and structure in our perceptions.
The underlying message is one of adaptability and open-mindedness. The notion that, when confronted with issues or challenges, we must be willing to move away from our established viewpoints. The act of encircling and hovering over the sculpture echoes the need to move off our base and reevaluate situations, recognizing that a fixed stance might not always be beneficial.
"Perspective in Orange" prompts contemplation on the fluidity of truth and the importance of considering multiple angles when navigating life's complexities. It serves as a visual reminder that embracing different perspectives can lead to a richer understanding of the world around us. The dynamic nature of the sculpture encourages viewers to reflect on the value of flexibility and the potential for personal growth that comes from willingly shifting one's perspective.

Mark Beltchenko Studio
Mark Beltchenko is a Detroit area sculptor that is highly skilled in multiple media. Equally comfortable working in stone, steel, bronze, wood and precious metals his work serves as a meditation on the good and bad in our current lives: the environment, political hypocrisy, positive growth, greed and human narcissism. Much of his work weaves layers upon another in stories through 3 dimensional pictographs. His imagery communicates in ways that are both primitive and profound; both sweeping and diminutive. Beltchenko is not a loud or verbose man but his work screams at us with dire urgency. That is not to say his work is obvious, rather, it is not. It requires effort. One must spend time with the work and breathe into it. You may not immediately recognize the discourse; however allow yourself to linger and as one lingers the layers begin to unfold and reveal its meticulous detail and dialogue. It affects and changes you. Mark has shown in museums and galleries; executed commissions for colleges, churches, corporations, casinos, and municipalities. In addition to producing his own bodies of work he has participated in visiting artist programs and workshops. Mark also creates one of a kind precious metal jewelry for which he has won numerous design awards.

- Large 1970's Israeli Abstract Sculpture Steel Menashe Kadishman Tel Aviv UpriseBy Menashe KadishmanLocated in Surfside, FLHitromemut (Uprise) Beautiful large sculpture by renowned Israeli sculptor Menashe Kadishman. Super quality, and visually stunning. There is a large monumental version of this in front of the Habima Theater, Israel's National Theatre in the heart of Tel Aviv. this is from the small edition of 10. The elements of this work, are balanced on top, in opposition to its construction. Menashe Kadishman was born in Tel-Aviv in 1932. He is a Graduate of St. Martin's School of Art, University of London. From 1947 to 1950, Kadishman studied with the Israeli sculptor Moshe Sternschuss at the Avni Institute of Art and Design in Tel Aviv, and in 1954 with the Israeli sculptor Rudi Lehmann in Jerusalem. In 1959, he moved to London, where he remained until 1972. He had his first one-man show there in 1965 at the Grosvenor Gallery. His sculptures of the 1960s were Minimalist in style and so designed as to appear to defy gravity. This was achieved either through careful balance and construction, as in Suspense (1966), or by using glass and metal so that the metal appeared unsupported, as in Segments (1968). In 1995, he began painting portraits of sheep. These instantly-recognizable sheep portraits...Category
