Large 19th Century Dutch Hand-Painted Blue and White Ceramic Delft Cachepot

About the Item

This elegant antique faience planter was created in Holland, circa 1880. Round in shape with bowed movement, the cachepot stands on small shell feet, and features a scalloped rim at the top decorated with shell and foliage motifs in high relief. The planter is hand painted in the traditional blue and white palette with sailboat and windmill embellishments throughout. The intricate cache pot is in excellent condition. Stamped Delft on the bottom. Measures: 12" diameter 10" height.
