Made in the 1930s by the Belgian Company Demeyere. Is also stamped in the ashtray. The chrome and bakelite are still in very beautiful condition.
This ashtray stand is also still complete with all his accessoires:

These exceptional antique Victorian sterling ashtrays have a plain circular form.
The surface of each piece is plain and embellished with an impressive cast sterling silver model of a fox.
Each fox is ornamented with details replicating the mammal's anatomical features and fur.
The raised rounded sides of each dish/ashtray bears two semi-circular indentations to the rim.
These versatile examples of Victorian silverware were crafted as ash trays, however, by virtue of their size they could be utilised as bon bon or sweet meat dishes.
