Chinese Red Lacquer Pig Skin Trunk
About the Item
Chinese red lacquer pig skin trunk, the interior is lined with sea blue fabric. Inside the top there is an applied calligraphy tablet. The brass lock hinges on the front are engraved with calligraphy on the right hand locking hasp. The carrying handles are cast brass with a protective ball button. The top and bottom of the pig skin is stitched and sealed with thread. The right hand side of the top has two applied cast markings. Wear is comensurate with age.
