Inlaid Mid Eastern Small Trunk

About the Item

Inlaid mother of pearl truck , the top with multiple cast iron studs and the corners feature an interesting pattern of tiny brass beads. The sides have wrought iron carrying handles and mother of pearl inlay in a decorative design. Mother of pearl inlay in various shapes and designs cover nearly the entire front of the piece, with the original brass key escutcheon, The interior has a small candle box with the top supported by steel hinges. This dove tailed trunk rests on small bracket feet.
