5 Legged Arc Chair, HAUS OF HU, 2023
About the Item
The chair is accommodated by the column. Its form is made up of a composition of intersecting geometries, an incomplete circle curves up from its rectilinear seat and extends outwards to hug the column. The five legs are of changing thickness, three are made from wood and are subtly wider at the point where they interact with the column and two are made from metal and sit at the other end of the extreme. The square seat is cushioned with a leather surface and a curve bisecting the edge to form a backrest to gently lean into.
