Early 19th Century French Provincial Oak Vitrine
About the Item
Beautifully crafted to stand the test of time, this antique oak vitrine evokes the Provincial romance of the French countryside. Built in France in the early 1800s, the simple silhouette is enlivened by the geometric mullions which decorate the windows of the upper cabinet. The interior shelves have been freshly painted a soft robin’s egg blue, creating a charming contrast with the natural golden hue of the carefully restored oak. Original brass lock pieces and drawer handles add an ornate finishing touch to this fresh and appealing period piece.
