Illusion Sanctuary Projection Table Lamp
Located in London, GB
Illusion Sanctuary is an ode to French architectural theorist Etienne-Louis Boullée's monument to Newton. A spiritual shrine that turns out was impossible to build. Shaw Liu finds inspiration in this unrealised architecture, particularly its spherical body, which was intended to mimic the effects of day and night. It is the balanced art of light, dark and the in between. This art deco light features a stout, mirrored body, an exploration of the tangible and intangible. Reflections are phantom-like and can be inconsistent. Almost hallucinogenic, Sanctuary's hollow dome symbolises the eternal spirit of Newton. As a table or floor light, it projects a golden halo upwards. Whilst the bulb itself is the source of light, it is not incandescent. This piece is an original design in Shaw’s series, she would later go on to create Sol Sanctuary which features a traditional, luminous opaline and alabaster light bulb. Reminiscent of light bollards, crafted in hand-polished stainless steel. It is made to be paired with a handcrafted glass bulb which helps project the light upwards. Striking and truly distinctive, it belongs in the company of equally remarkable objects, including the homes of the audacious, and as lighting for art studios. Shaw Liu crafted this monument as she believes everyone deserves to have a cenotaph within their midst. A monument dedicated to the purest part of one's soul, which can continue to live on. • Rooted in architectural design • Ideal for the bedroom or living area • Projection lamp.

The Lunar Sanctuary floor lamp is an ode to French architectural theorist Etienne-Louis Boullée's monument to Newton. A spiritual shrine that turns out was impossible to build. It is the balanced art of light, dark and the in between. This art deco light features a long, mirrored body, an exploration of the tangible and intangible. Reflections are phantom-like and can be inconsistent. Almost hallucinogenic, Sanctuary's hollow dome symbolises the eternal spirit of Newton, whilst its light is akin to a glowing moon. Best placed as a floor lamp, its interior becomes aglow with the orb sat within it. This piece is an evolution of Sanctuary Illusion, which features a projecting light bulb. Reminiscent of light bollards, crafted in hand-polished stainless steel. It is made to be paired with an alabaster bulb which mimics the texture and façade of a full moon. A robust and milky mineral prized by Egyptians, it becomes aglow with its distinct pattern. Striking and truly distinctive, it belongs in the company of equally remarkable objects, including the homes of the audacious, and as lighting for art...

Located in Rome, IT
Wonderful ceramic vase with futurist-style airbrush decorations, signed and numbered under the base, with object number, decoration code, and format code, made by the Galvani manufacture. Very high artistic quality of the object, note the beauty of the decorations of the fawn portrayed, the beauty of the light and dark present that create a superb contrast, which are among the most important futurist decorations in the world as any expert will know. The "Galvani" ceramic factory in Pordenone was founded in 1811 by Giuseppe Galvani. Thoscene: Thoughts creating your forms We are all unique in our forms and expressions. Thoscene was created to celebrate our individuality and connectedness. We have a fascination with the impact of new technologies on design, architecture and consciousness. We are at the forefront of the parametric computational design processes and 3D fabrication techniques. For the past 8 years, we have been focused on how to develop and leverage these innovations to pave the way for the first truly personalized design experience. We created the Thoscene customization platform to help people connect more deeply with themselves. Thoscene is the generation engine of these forms inspired by you. Through the Thoscene platform, customers can order one of a kind art pieces that are based on personal inputs such as time, date and location of birth. Thoscene exists for clients to connect more deeply and have a truly personal virtual experience by tapping into the spirit of design oriented users. Thoscene stands to represent an emergence of the timeless with the infinite. Using your astrological data, natural patterns, and sacred geometries, This Thoscene sculpture reveals the relationship between form and our unique human experience.  Thoscene uses this data along with parametric modeling tools to bring people a truly personalized design experience. Through the Thoscene platform, cleints can order one of a kind art pieces that are based on personal inputs such as time, date and location of birth, or a mixture of your families data.  Thoscene stands to represent an emergence of the timeless and eternal with a singular goal to honor our connectedness and individuality. How It Works: 1.Choose the type and size 2.Let us know your month, day, and location of birth 4.We create and render your 3D based on your personal attributes   Thoscene uses your date of birth and forms an experience design, based ones propensity towards different character traits (based on your astrological and vedic data).   If someone’s chart shows that the person is more prone towards being more expressive or extroverted, the design will become more extroverted to the degree at which the expression exists.   The designs are expressed in six unique series, Fabri, Orthofract, Verahedra, Morphogen, and Spherical are based on natural geometries and phenomenology. Their combined forms coalesce into Singularity, whose theme reflects the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole.   These designs reflect the inner strength and boldness of every individual, inspiring a way of living...
