This is a good hand made, hammered pewter Letter or Toast rack made by Connells of 88 Cheapside, London, during the Art Deco period, Circa 1925
The shape is very "in period" Art Deco with its angular geometric form.
The rack could be used for letters, cards, notes or possibly a toast rack.
It is fully marked to the base with the makers, Connells, stamped marks, the firm being in business from 1845 to 1939.
